I recently had the opportunity to review an 8 pack of Liquid Chalkers. I was super excited to try these, as I had never heard of them before. As soon as I got them in the mail, I opened them and the kids and I went to town on the windows and mirrors.
We all had fun drawing on the kids' mirror. |
When you first open them, you have to get the liquid flowing in the markers. You just press the tip against a paper or something for about thirty seconds or so, until the liquid chalk has totally saturated the tip of the marker. Then they are good to go. You must be careful on what surfaces you use these markers. They only easily wipe off of nonporous surfaces like glass and the chalkboards that are made using nonporous backings.
We left notes for each other on mirrors and appliances. |
We tested my chalkboard, but it was porous, so we stuck with our windows and mirrors. We had such fun! These are so easy to use and the clean up is a cinch. The smell is a little weird to me, but is not over powering or headache inducing. The colors are very pretty and the liquid flows smoothly. I give this product two thumbs up. I would like to use these for decorating my windows for every holiday. I found it to be a lot more fun than just putting up decorations bought from a store. The children really enjoy it too. I leave the markers in their bathroom for them usually, as they have a huge mirror to draw on and have fun with.
We decorated the windows for Halloween and even decorated the fish's bowl! |
