My Rating:

I absolutely love this bar of soap. It smells so good that I didn't want to use it. I wanted to just sit and smell it. When I get a particularly good smelling bar of soap I tend to put it with my yarn for a while to make my yarn smell good while I am knitting with it. So, after having the box with the soap in my craft closet for a few weeks, I decided I really needed to review it and took it out to give it a try.

I really love the smell of it. Even after smelling it in my home for a few weeks I hadn't grown tired of it. The lather isn't really great but the clean feeling was there. I like a lot of suds with my soap, but usually use body wash so that might be where the difference is. Even without a lot of lather, this soap gets you squeaky clean. I feel like my skin was softer and more moisturized after using this soap than when I use my usual bodywash. I think I will keep this on the sink for washing my hands while knitting, as they tend to dry out quite a bit from the yarn.
While I might not run out and buy a bar of this soap everytime I run out, since I am usually using bodywash, I would consider buying it again since I love the smell so much. I am also eager to see what other scents they have. I give this bar of Lemongrass Basil soap from Farmers' Market five stars. It smells good, it cleans like it should, and it moisturizes well. What more can you ask for in a bar of soap?

  1. I will definitely enjoy the lemon grass basil soap. I always make my Indonesian sirup with lemon grass and I love the taste of it. I adore a bathroom that is filled with soap and smells great. I like to place all my soap in a jar and when i open the jar, that smell that comes out is amazing. I usually sit in the bathroom just to smell them and I know this will definitely be one of the soaps I have to try. It might be on my list for Christmas idea. Thanks for sharing this with your readers.

  2. This is the kind of soap I like, organic and earthy. I kind of miss using bar soaps since the introduction of the body washes. I like me a good soap, if and when I take a tub bath. May people frown on tub baths but I find that after a good soak, I am able to get cleaner and remove all the dead skin on my body, especially my feet. I would love this organic soap as a gift.
