Most people that I know, including myself, stay connected constantly throughout the day to the internet, their social media, their email, their family and friends, using various devices. I know that I feel like I'm out of the loop if I'm not connected in some way. My favorite way to stay in touch is my tablet, but I also use my cell phone and my laptop. Usually I am on at least two of them at the same time.
With March Madness upon us, many people are trying to stay connected to keep track of their favorite teams. So I grab my tablet and head to the kitchen. I start watching the show right where I left off as I cook a meal for my family. Where did I find the recipe? Why on my phone, of course! My tablet was already busy letting me watch my show.
Or sometimes I need to go somewhere with my husband, say to the grocery store. Since I'm totally obsessed with whatever I'm watching at the moment, it's a good thing that I can watch it on my smartphone! Again, I just start up the episode where I left off. It's really handy that many apps are available on so many devices. But wait, I need to check my grocery list and I left it on my laptop, Good thing I can connect to my laptop through my smartphone! I get my list, then go back to watching my show.
I don't know how I managed to get so much done before I had access to all my devices! I am constantly using more than one piece of technology at the same time. I even control my set top box with my smartphone while reading my email on my tablet. My husband teases me about how I always have at least three things going at once.
