I want to separate my sweepstakes and giveaways on here from my crafting and other things I am into. That way people can read about what they come here for and not have to search through all of it to find it. That said, here is my first knitting update after about ten days of knitting solely on my husband's blanket.
I am going insane! I don't think I am cut out to be a monogamous knitter! Either that or it's just that it is so repetitive. It makes me so sleepy working on it. It is coming along though. I am through my second big skein of the yarn I am using and am moving on to my regular sized skeins. I have five of the regular sized skeins, but am not sure the blanket will be long enough after I use them up. Might have to go to Michael's and pick up another big skein or two. I like the idea of yarn shopping, even if it is just for that specific yarn. It took me months to save up for the two big skeins I just used! I am doing all kinds of surveys and sweepstakes and whatnot trying to come up with money for the kid's school supplies. Now I might have to keep on doing so for the yarn LOL. I have earned the most with the ibotta app on my phone so far. I am loving making money by buying things that was already on my shopping list. I just wish it worked at Brookshire's stores. I mostly use it at the Dollar General and Family Dollar stores.
Anyway I got slightly off on a tangent. Bobby is still liking the pattern and is eager to be able to use his blanket. It will be months more before I am done with it at this rate. I was making pretty decent progress before I started blogging about the sweepstakes and linking to the blog on different sites trying to increase my readers, and whatnot. Also all the surveys and entries to sweepstakes take up time. I spend most of my waking moments on this laptop! I am so glad I don't have to do it all from my phone anymore. That was difficult, as a lot of urls aren't clickable from phones. They always go to a 404 page not found error.
Enough rambling for now. I hope you all are happy to see me blogging about my crafting again! I was starting to feel annoying with all the sweepstakes stuff. I love doing it, I just don't want to seem too pushy about it. I want it to be fun for all of us.
