Lysol Power & Free Review

As a BzzAgent, I recently received two Lysol Power & Free products to try out. Here I will tell you what I thought of them.

The first product I tried was the Multi-Purpose cleaner. I was a little wary of the spray cleaner. I have used several Lysol cleaners in the past and the scent is usually overpowering to me. I timidly sprayed some on my counter and waited for my eyes to start watering. Nothing happened! No burning eyes, no runny nose, nothing but some fun fizzy bubbles on my counter top from the cleaner. I watched the bubbles for a moment, then reread the bottle. Hydrogen Peroxide is in this cleaner. No wonder it was bubbling! This is why one should always read everything. It is written very clearly on the bottle, but for some reason all I saw was the brand name and the Power & Free.

I proceeded with cleaning my counter. I was pleased with the performance of this cleaner. My counter tops were left clean and non-streaky. The smell was pleasant and not overpowering. I actually really enjoyed the citrus scent of this cleaner. The fact that it doesn't have bleach was a huge bonus for me. Bleach is what really makes my eyes burn, and also my hands when I clean with it.

After using the multi-purpose cleaner spray, I decided to try out the cleaning wipes. These are my cleaning tools of choice. I like the ease of cleaning wipes. Just wipe, then throw away. What could be easier. As with other cleaners, I tend to find the smell a little harsh. Not with these wipes! I really liked the fresh scent of these cleaning wipes. Again, the scent was not overpowering. I did not get the burning skin and eyes from these wipes. I used these on my stove. There was no streaking and they worked really well. Many wipes I have tried on my stove has left it streaky or cloudy looking. These are now my absolute favorite cleaning wipes.

As with all Lysol products, these kill 99.9% of viruses and bacteria when you use them as is directed on the packaging. The Lysol Power & Free products do really well at cleaning tough messes without having to resort to bleach. They bubble up, which makes me smile.

I personally love that there is no bleach. That is the number one selling point for me. The kids can use these products without me having to worry over them not using gloves. The smell doesn't get to any of us, which is a huge bonus as well. We tend to get cleaners and then not use them as we should because of the overpowering scents of them. The Power & Free products are being used daily in our home now.

As a BzzAgent I received these products for free to review them. Even though I was given these products, all the opinions in this post are my own. I give my honest opinion on any product I review.
