Product Review: Order Out Of Chaos Academic Planner

The Academic Planner I received for review. The tab thingies are my own and did not come with the planner

Originally this planner was going to my son when I received it. I thought that maybe it would help him stay on track at school. After an unenthused look from him, I asked if he would actually use it, and he said no. So I decided to use it for my blogging.

I write down everything to keep on track

This planner has really helped me keep caught up with a lot of my blog posts and giveaways. I have my book related posts written down in the top square of each day so I know what I am supposed to have posted that morning. I then have my giveaways that are ending written down in the next box. This way I can see, at a glance, what I need to promote early that day so people have a chance to enter before they end.

I really like how this planner has the column on the left in the picture above. It is on a page in the beginning.  A student can write his classes down so that he knows what square is for what class no matter what page he is on. This saves space on the page you write everything down on since you don't have to write in the class name each time. I use it to keep myself organized within my organizational planner! I try to keep only the types of posts written in the corresponding areas, so I don't have to search through my lists every day.

There are few other handy features to this academic planner. There is a section at the bottom of each page for your student to write after school activities. Each month includes a page for notes and a full month calendar. There is a handy pocket inside the back cover to store papers or pens. Also in the back is a full, two year calendar. The planner is pretty durable too. I have not had a page fall out and the cover is still completely intact. After all the use I have had from this, I was expecting the cover to start coming loose, but it hasn't.

I think this academic planner is very nicely laid out. It is very instinctual to use. I feel that it has greatly helped organize me with my blog posts. As long as I write everything down, I won't forget to post my book reviews on time and I always know what giveaways are ending each day.
